Nap Time

Nap Time It was nap time for our friend Becca’s son, and apparently I was just the person to put him down. After a few brief moments singing “Back to Pooh Corner”, he was out like a light. Turns out, sleep is contagious. Though thanks to an opportunistic photographer & her friend, I didn’t exactly get to fall asleep completely. :)

Edited to add: Oops, was just reminded that the first song I sang — which actually got him to the point of closing his eyes and going to sleep — was what I could remember of the great song by those lean, green, crime-fighting machines, “Pizza Power”. Never thought it’d work as a lullaby, but hey, what do I know! :)

  1. Somewhere I have a pic of you and I asleep on the couch when you were just about that size.

If I knew where it was, I’d post it.

    Don’t hold your breath.
