In responding to a user's search, I look to the Bible to determine whether God will ever give us more than we can handle.
Abdon, Abijah, Abraham, Ahab, Ahasuerus, Ashur, Belshazzar, and many more men in the Bible had multiple wives, but does the Bible ever condemn them for that particular life decision? Whether the men chose to have more than one wife of their own volition or they were given the wives by God, it would seem as though God has no problem with having multiple wives.
