I’ve never listened to one of John Piper’s sermons completely, but I took the opportunity today to listen to his sermon from yesterday, “The Pride of Babel and the Praise of Christ.” It’s available in audio or video format, but there’s also an edited transcript if you don’t want to watch or listen. Great stuff. There was a lot in it about the Tower of Babel that I’d never thought of before; check it out. Piper seems to be an excellent preacher — sticks to the point, doesn’t water down what he’s saying, and doesn’t disguise shallow content with over-dramatic delivery.
