- I started going to church because of an invitation received on the internet.
- I was regenerated by the Holy Spirit and for the first time realized who and what I was before God while discussing the gospel on the internet.
- I married a woman I met on the internet.
- I found a great assembly via an invitation received from people I met via the internet.
I am where I am in life because of God’s repeated use of the internet in His plan for my life. That list of major life events came to mind the other day while answer questions Pastor Tom was asking me, and I can’t seem to shake it.
For me, it is a simple and glorious reminder that in addition to the cattle on a thousand hillsides, God owns the internet. (A question which naturally comes to mind at that thought is simply, How are you (ab)using it?)
Creation, and all that in it is, exists because God desires it to, and it is His. How great is the Lord!
