“Left Behind” — The Game

Sad to say, I’m rea­son­ably cer­tain “filthy lucre” had some moti­va­tion in this one… The insane­ly pop­u­lar Left Behind nov­els have no entered the realm of video gam­ing.

I’ve no doubt that dur­ing the Tribu­la­tion, the earth will not be where you want to be. The Book of Rev­e­la­tion paints a pic­ture that has nev­er even come close to being matched in human history.

And while there will be war dur­ing that time, should we as Chris­tians be mak­ing light of it? Should it be our enter­tain­ment? The game promis­es par­tic­i­pa­tion in phys­i­cal war­fare using a vari­ety of mil­i­tary weapon­ry. Is not our bat­tle spir­i­tu­al, our weapons and armor heavenly?

Blessed are the peace­mak­ers, for they shall be called sons of God.
