It’s Not about the Church

So why do non-church church­es do all they can to appeal to the unchurched? Why do they expend tremen­dous time & mon­ey to enter­tain, uplift, and impress those who oth­er­wise will not come?

Why do they do these things? Accord­ing to Kei­th Whit­field, “It’s not about the church. It’s not about the Bible. … It is about hatred for God.” You’ll want to read part 1 and 2 to get the whole story.

Suf­fice it to say, if as a body of believ­ers gath­ered togeth­er, the Lord & His Word are not mag­ni­fied through the teach­ing of the Scrip­tures, it’s time to take a long hard look at why you’re assem­bling at all.
