Ghostbusters Is Hiring

Well it isn’t every day that I hear a piece of news from the entertainment industry that makes me truly geek out. Actually, this piece of news is one that I never thought I’d receive. A third Ghostbusters movie? Really?

The Ghostbusters

Shortly after I first heard rumors of such a thing, the rumors were dashed when I heard that Ghostbusters: The Video Game would essentially be the third movie. After all, it had all the primary actors, quality script writing, and all the fixings of a Hollywood blockbuster.

I became content, accepting that the world’s most popular paranormal investigators would no longer grace the big screen.

And then I found out that Ghostbusters is hiring, and a proper sequel to my favorite childhood movie franchise is in the works, with filming to perhaps begin later this year.

  1. Funny that you write this. My colleague Dusty Cartwright wrote a post a few weeks ago entitled “Honey I Suck: The Rick Moranis Story” at fourcamelsatsea.com about this very problem. It seems that Mr. Moranis has become too cool for the Ghostbusters.
