A More Just Language?

Fifty-two scholars have produced a new translation (I use the term loosely) of the Bible which uses a supposedly “more just language.” Jesus is not referred to as Lord nor as the Son of God; rather, He is the child of “our Father and Mother who are in heaven.” Positive figures are neutered, yet Satan is still referred to as a male. The changes throughout the translation are supposed to afford more justice to feminists and homosexuals while making the Word of God more accessible. How foolish are the minds of men who would suppose God’s exalted Word should be conformed to humanist thought. And how dire are their fates (Revelation 22:18,19).
